A “ceremony” is either a civil marriage or a civil partnership.
The fee includes the cost of the Registrars attending the ceremony and preparing the paperwork beforehand.
Prices are correct for the 2023/24 financial year but subject to review/change. Fees change each year and you will be required to pay the fee applicable to the date of your ceremony.
One certificate is included in the cost unless stated otherwise.
Fees are for Leicestershire Registration Service only.
The couple are responsible for booking Registrars for their ceremony at a venue – venues are never responsible for booking Registrars. It is vital that you call us to check availability and to book your date and time before finalising arrangements with your venue.
Ceremony in the Register Office

We offer ceremonies on a Tuesday morning only and are very popular so booking well in advance is essential.
